Watch Out For Deer On Roadway

Missouri State Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to use extra caution and be wary for deer on the roads, especially during evening and early dawn hours.  Deer are more active and in unusual places this time of year due to mating season, hunting season and crop harvesting.  In 2012, there were three-thousand-980 traffic crashes involving deer-vehicle strikes in Missouri.  Five people killed and 411 were injured.
