Suspended Superintendent Speaks Out

Three weeks after being placed on paid administration leave, Dr. Art McCoy, superintendent for the Ferguson-Florissant School District is finally speaking out.  At a news conference in Berkley yesterday, McCoy said he’s baffled by the School Board’s decision to place him on paid administrative leave, and said he never received a specific reason as to their decision.  He thinks his push to welcome transfer students from the Normandy and Riverview Garden school districts may have been a sore spot among board members.
