Stiffer Punishments Called For In Knockout Game
Illinois state officials are calling for stiffer penalties for those involved in the brutal attacks known as the Knockout Game. The attacks happen, when an unsuspecting pedestrians is viciously punched by complete strangers. The Illinois state crime task force is pushing lawmakers to raise the penalty for the attacks from a misdemeanor to a Class A felony. Officials have also requested the age for being charged as an adult lowered to 14-years of age.
