Man Sues Anheuser-Busch Over Labels

Claiming it deceives consumers into believing it’s Beck’s beer is imported from Germany, a Florida man is suing Anheuser-Busch Cos. LLC.  The “St. Louis Business Journal” reports, Francisco Rene Marty alleges the company uses terms “Originated in Germany” and “Germany Quality” on its Beck’s beer so they sell at a higher price such as imported brands rather than other domestic beers, even though they are made in 15-countries including the U.S.  As of yesterday, officials with A-B had not filed an answer to the five-million-dollar class-action lawsuit.
