Jury To Decide Jilted Lover’s Sentence

A jury will reconvene today to decide the sentence of a Jefferson City man found guilty of killing a woman with whom he’d had a relationship with while she was separated from her husband.  The “Jefferson City News Tribune” reports, deliberating only two-hours yesterday, a St. Charles County jury found 58-year-old David Hosier guilty of first-degree murder and other charges stemming from the September 2009 murder of Angela Gilpin.  According to reports, Angela Gilpin had dated Hosier while separated from her husband, but the Gilpins were trying to reconcile.  Hosier is also alleged to have shot and killed Ronald Gilpin at the same time he killed Angela in her Jefferson City apartment.
