Judge Explains Citing Breast-Feeding Mom

The judge under fire for citing a breast-feeding mom for contempt of court is explaining the Missouri law he followed.  “KCTV” reports, Jackson County Judge Marco Roldan cited Laura Trickle for contempt for failing to make childcare arrangements for her son she was breast-feeding.  Roldan said Missouri’s court system does everything it can to help citizens with hardships, however unlike Kansas, Missouri does not allow an exemption for breast-feeding mothers.  Roldan commented if the Missouri General Assembly were to exempt breast-feeding mothers like Kansas does, he would comply with the law.
