Governor’s Wager Over World Series

The Governor’s of Missouri and Massachusetts are  staking hometown favorites in a friendly wager in the World Series.  Nixon put up a four-pack of Cardinal Cream Soda from Fitz’s, Bottling Company, a box of hand crafted chocolates from Bissinger’s plus an assortment of Italian baked goods from Missouri Baking Company on the Hill.  Patrick is staking New England clam chowder from Legal Sea Foods, a selection of baked goods from Dancing Deer Baking and a variety of Polar Beverages seltzers.  Nixon said after the aberration of 2004, he looks forward to the world seeing the Cardinals putting things back in their rightful order with the Red Sox, and he would even throw in some made-in St. Louis Tums for Governor Patrick.
