Charred Body Discovered In Car

Authorities are looking for answers after fire crews discovered a charred body in the trunk of a car that had been set on fire.  The “Belleville Daily News” reports, around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, crews discovered the body after extinguishing a car fire that was parked in the 1000 block of 43rd Street in Washington Park, Illinois.  Initial reports said authorities didn’t know the sex or race of the victim, and police say the car was so badly burned, its make and model haven’t been determined. Anyone with information on the homicide should to call the police.
